Spellspire from 10tons lets you cast a 'spell' on enemies by forming words from letters on a rack. It's an action-packed Scrabble-inspired game full of monsters, spells and a cute Harry Potter lookalike. Your wizard can be equipped with deadly wands, stylish robes and fancy hats that can also deal some damage to monsters. The longer the words you create the more effective the spells will be. But forming words is not easy, as boss monsters are quick to launch an attack. You will have to spell words before the timer runs out. Each monster has its own timer and while some take a longer time to attack, others are pretty quick in dealing damage to your mage. With these quick tips, hints and cheats, you will be able to create longer words, unlock better gear and defeat enemies faster:
1. Use a Word Solver to Search for Longer Words
The longer the word, the stronger your spell will be against enemies. However, it won't be easy to form longer words especially against mini-bosses at the end of the level. Most boss monsters have a faster attack time than common enemies and so using a word solver one of the best ways to get longer words and defeat them. Here's how you can use a word solver to make this happen:
When battle starts, quickly press the sleep/wake button and the Home button simultaneously to capture the screen and press the Pause button at the top right corner of the screen. The timer gets activated when your wizard comes closer to the first enemy. You will have to take a screenshot and press the pause button before he approaches his first enemy.
Now double-press the home button to minimize the game. Go to Photos to view the screenshot. Keep the screenshot opened, memorize/note down the letters on the rack on a piece of paper.
Thesaurus Achievement in Spellspire: Find 25% of the available words in a level. Find guides to this achievement here. Each time you complete all three in a set, you'll earn a trophy. You have to earn five trophies on each floor to move on to the next floor. This makes the dungeon a massive grind to get through.
Open your browser and visit wordsolver.net. Enter the letters on the empty box and press the Go button.
The online word solver will return a list of words starting from longest word to 2-letter words. Ignore the 2-letter words. The minimum letter count is 3 in this game.
Next, note down all or a few longer words. Write them in a piece of paper or enter those words on your notepad. You can also note down 3-letter words that can deal extra damage to enemies. There are certain accessories like robes or hats that grant such damage boosts. For example, equipping the weathered hat will ensure that 3-letter words do 2x more damage to enemies.
Spellspire Trophy Guide Osrs
Double press the home button to view open apps and tap the game to maximize it. Press the 'Resume' button and start spelling 3 or 4-letter words that the Wordsolver returned. Do not spell longer words to attack common enemies. Once any word is created, it can't be spelled again in that level, so save longer words for boss monsters or hard-to-beat enemies that may appear before boss monsters.
Note:
I don't encourage cheating. Instead of using wordsolvers, try to solve the word puzzles on your own. using such tools spoils the fun.
2. Know Your Enemies
When you tap a level, a window pops up showing the next wave of enemies. Knowing who's coming up next will help you devise a spell plan for monsters. After checking the enemy line-up, try to unlock and purchase the Monsterpedia, which can be acquired by replaying previous levels (I got it by replaying tower level 1).
The Monsterpedia provides key information about each monster that you have defeated. And because you will meet the same monsters in later levels, this book will be very handy in knowing their weakness and resistance to certain wands.
Next, follow the word solver cheat, note down words and form them according to the enemy line-up. This way you can easily defeat them. Save longer words for the final monster.
3. Upgrade Wand, Robe and Hat
Wands, robes and hats have unique characteristics that will help you defeat enemies. Upgrading wands will increase the total damage to enemies, whereas upgrading robes and hats provides various battle benefits like increased health, timer delays and bonus damage for 3 or 4 letter words etc.
Before attempting a level, try to upgrade your equipped wand, robe and hat with the coins that you have received from reward chests and tower levels. If you don't have enough coins, then replay previous levels to earn them. Replaying previous levels will also let you get stars, which is used to unlock gear slots.
4. Save Coins for a Better Wand/Hat – Replay Levels
You may also save coins to buy better equipment for your wizard. You will receive plenty of coins from rewards chest that opens every 8 hours. The higher the tower level you are in, the better equipment (and more coins) you will receive from the chest, which provides 3 reward choices. Choose any one of them. You can also replay previous levels to earn some coins. Once you have the required coins, you can purchase a wand, a new hat or robe.

6. Use Plurals and 'ed' Suffix
If the jumbled letter rack contains letters 'S' 'E' and 'D', then try to form plurals of words or adding a suffix to a word. This way you can create two words from the same letters. So if the rack contains letters like K, L, I, L, S, you can form two words – KILL and KILLS – to attack enemies.
7. Replay levels, Get Stars and Unlock New Hats, Power-ups and Wands
You will have to unlock slots by reaching certain levels and using stars, which can be collected by playing previously completed levels. Go to Shop to find out how many stars are required or what level should you reach to unlock a slot. Unlocked slots contain new gear, which can be purchased using coins.
Wands belong to certain elements that can be weaker or stronger against enemies. Before buying a wand check its element symbol and the damage it can deal to enemies. Read the Monsterpedia to know which element an enemy belongs to and his weakness/resistance against elements.
8. Search for Anagrams
When forming words, search for anagrams. For example, MADE anagrams to DAME.
There are several others, such as MAGE and GAME. This way, you can create two words from the same set of letters. You can also read Tip No. 1 and use a word solver to get more anagrams.
9. Start Creating Words Without Looking at the Timer
Don't look at the timer while forming words. They can be a distraction and may make you more anxious, causing a delay in spelling out longer words. You can even start forming a word to attack monsters before the timer gets activated. When the game starts, the timer isn't activated until your mage comes closer to a monster. By the time he comes near him, quickly form a 3-letter word to deal some damage to him.

Choose Your Words Wisely
While it may be enticing to watch the battle happening above your spelling board, just focus on your letters and spell as fast as you can. You can't change weapons or robes in medias res, so your only activity should be to spell your heart out. You will be held back from attacking when you can't yet, so just keep going for as long as the sword is lit up green. Be warned, the red arrow is not a backspace button and will remove all of your letters at once; if you want to remove just one letter, tap it to disappear.
Prior to entering the battle, you'll see the order of enemies you'll be facing, so keep that order in mind as you're using your words. Use obvious, small words to get through the easier or weaker henchmen as they appear and try to remember longer words for the more difficult monsters. Early in the game, those tough monsters happen at the end of the level, but as you progress they are scattered amongst the group, sometimes even being the first one you face. You can occasionally kill multiple monsters with one powerful word, but it will only work for those visible on screen.
If you're about to battle a new monster you haven't seen before, you'll get a 'New monster ahead' warning. That pop-up will actually stay until you dismiss it, so use it as a chance to collect your thoughts and rest for a brief moment before continuing. Don't worry too much about remembering the details; you can refer to them in your Monsterpedia later.
Gear
Spellspire Trophy Guide Rs3
Once you have a wand, robe and hat, you'll want to focus on upgrading your hat first. Hats offer both health and damage points making them the best investment early on. Getting a good mix of strengths (i.e. fire and frost or poison and gold) will help you in the regular levels, but for boss levels you'll want to go heavy on anything your boss has a weakness to.
Invest in the Monsterpedia as soon as you can. Lrp sphere manual. Before each level you'll be given a list of which monsters you'll be battling. Because each monster has different strengths and weaknesses, choose your gear according to the most powerful monsters you'll be facing.
Inventory
Spellspire Trophy Guide
If you've been lucky enough to find a one-time use inventory items, save it for the toughest foe or for one with resistance to your existing strengths. Until you upgrade your bag, you can only hold one inventory item so you may want to keep it until another shows up and then use it on whomever is nearest. You'll have the option to upgrade your bag early on, but there aren't enough inventory drops to make that upgrade worth doing for a while; save your coins for wardrobe upgrades.
Bosses
After effects cc 2018 patch 2020. Prior to wasting a life on any boss level (marked by the ominous silhouette and gargoyle), you will need to upgrade your gear as high as it will go. Most bosses will do more damage in one move than you have health, so you'll need to do as much damage as possible before they can make their move. For example, freezing a boss on your attack is an effective way to get some more time to do more damage, so long as your boss isn't immune to frost. But ultimately, you'll need to gear up according to the boss and then max out everything before heading to battle.
You likely won't earn enough coins in the battles between bosses to upgrade your gear meaningfully, so you'll have to go back and replay levels to earn stars and coin bonuses. Replaying any level costs lives, so be prepared to grind or pay. Timed bonus chests will offer coins or lives; pick coins if you're going to have time for lives to respawn and pick lives if you're going to be playing for a while.
